INTERWOVEN: THE LIVING TAPESTRY brings together photography, painting and sculpture in an exploration of the profound relationships connecting all living beings to our planet. Featuring photographs by Leica Ambassador and Nikon Creator, Dr. Latika Nath and sculptures, paintings and prints by international multimedia artist Nadia Sood, the exhibition reveals a world held together by fragile yet enduring threads — ecological, emotional, cultural, historical and spiritual.
Through layered imagery, organic forms and tactile surfaces, the exhibition curated by Kajoli Khanna weaves together two bodies of work — one reflecting an intimate understanding of the interconnectedness between species, habitats and human communities, the other the tension between humanity's capacity for creation and its potential for destruction — into a single conversation. Rather than standing apart from nature, it suggests, we are woven into it. As John Muir observed: "When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe."
